Taipei

Taipei is the national capital of Taiwan and it is located in the in the northern part of an island in a basin which is between Yangming Mountains and the Central Mountains. It has a population of around 2,705,000. Taipei is usually described to have a hot and humid weather.

Major Attractions:

  • Elephant Mountain:

Elephant Mountains are located in the center of the city so it is easy to access. One of the best place to go hiking and get a nice view of the city. Great place to see the sunset.

  • Taipei 101 Fireworks:

One of the most beautiful fireworks on the planet can be seen in Taipei. You can also choose to stay in hotel nearby with your window facing these excellent fireworks.

  • Yangmishan:

This is the most scenic place of Taipei and the country’s largest dormant volcano lies here.

  • Shilin Night Market.

One place with hundreds of food and goods.
